A tip.
When laminating wing tips like the one pictured, use a thin strip of metal ( an old hacksaw blade or piece of packaging strap) between the laminates and the clamps to give a more consistent clamping pressure.

Pete's V block with cap & locking screw Item No. 17. Price $7.00. Weight 48Gr.
• A great way to hold round, and square stock.
• Can be used as a razor saw guide for cutting to length

• Used in pairs (as shown) they make holding longer work very easy.
How good are these ??
Think of the possibilities for holding all sorts, and shape of items. For holding while cutting, filling, marking out and drilling.
Yes, they are plastic, and you can break them, but you will find they hold quite securely with very little pressure. Or you can buy an industrial "V" block from an engineering supply, they are metal and stronger, and will only cost you $60.00 upwards.
They can also be used with Pete's micro positioner or another of Pete's blocks to act as a stop for consistent, repeatable positioning.
